Amtrak Superliner: Texas Eagle #21

We are taking another overnight train trip this year. (A “train-cation”?) Last year we went to Philadelphia, http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2011-05-19

This year’s destination: San Antonio, Texas. Clare went there many years ago on a business trip with a colleague and thought it was a very romantic city and has always wanted to go back and take me. Here is the train we’re boarding in St. Louis, Missouri, for a scheduled 8 p.m. departure. (The photo’s time stamp shows that the train obviously departed a bit late.) Our anticipated arrival in San Antonio is approximately 10 p.m. tomorrow evening. Our compartment is “upstairs” on the Superliner.
