Presently reading a book about biology I picked up at the public library for 50¢ and currently in the chapter simply-titled “Genes”. (Five of the eight chapters have one-word titles!) So I have “double-helix” on the brain and I liked this shape in the garden, particularly with simple color blocks in the background.

@harley84 Thanks so much, Kat! I shot *sooo* many bumblebee frames and came oh-so-close to getting what I wanted -- but not quite -- that I wasn't terribly enthusiastic about any of the other frames until I started quick-edits of a bunch to post on my posterous site. This one just struck me as sort of abstract-y and artsy, but colorful in a simple way, so "triple-helix" it was! Thanks for commenting!
I can remember learnign to drawn helixes in graphics design, and I can still drawn and shade them free hand now.. Useless information I know.. Great shot
@dandtsgal Thanks! I was sure I would post something else, but when I saw this on the screen, I knew it was the one for the day. This one can go somewhere by itself and it might be pretty color-friendly for blues and greens. :)
