It seems that all the best used-book stores have a resident feline. To beat the three-digit temperatures (about 40°C), I took my brother-in-law and twin nieces to a used-book store in town that I have never visited. After this, we went to see

• “Trip”
and Lisa took us “back stage” — with horse cookies that made the girls very popular — to meet all of the residents of the horse barn. Alas, I didn’t take my camera with me — gah!
Meanwhile, back at the Bookworm, one wonders if the economics books behind the cat above are what made him “soporific”…

Yes....I know they'd put me to sleep! Haha. No offense! I am about to have twin nieces too! They are at least going to be here on August 23 if not sooner! They will be sme good photo ops! Lol

@digitalrn No problem with me, Rick. My disciplines of math and econ tend to be "binary" as far as interest for a given person: either enthusiastic or bored/scared, but little in between!

@marlboromaam Alas, this small bookstore is now closed. The owners retired and no one was interested in purchasing the business. We've had a spate of these retiring-owner situations in the past year. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
