A year ago was a third consecutive day I managed to get out for a row on the lake, http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-01-09
Today — in stark contrast — was my first lake row in about two months. Travel, illness, weather and job have “intervened.”
Today’s weather was mid- to high-50°s (F, of course; mid-teen°s C) and relatively calm winds. The outbound row was choppy: both the water and my “form.” For the return row I had a glassy lake and my form improved as well. By the time I returned, I pretty much had the lake to myself.
The weather may have been better a year ago, but today the late-afternoon lighting was somewhat unique. This image is SOOC. I thought about making adjustments in PS. In the end, though, I chose to let the camera “speak.”
