Moth Orchid: Come hither!

“Phalaenopsis (Blume, 1825), known as the ‘Moth Orchid,’ abbreviated Phal in the horticultural trade, is an orchid genus of approximately 60 species. Phalaenopsis is one of the most popular orchids in the trade, through the development of many artificial hybrids,” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phalaenopsis

I made some nice shots of a white Phalaenopsis — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2013-01-30 — but I liked this sideways POV, as most orchid photos are “face view” shots looking directly into the bloom (which is sometimes essential for identification!).

Thank you, Karen, for the ID!
