Gateway Arch, St. Louis, MO

Jenny and her fiance flew in this morning and we spent the day in the St. Louis area. Since Steve has never been “up the Arch,” we took him up. I thought this was a different sort of “take” or perspective for an image of the Gateway Arch, looking down at one of the bases of the stainless steel Arch. Given the “pitch” of the windows in the observation area, this is a bit of a tough shot.
• The Gateway Arch is the nation’s tallest monument at 630 feet (192 meters).
