Clare’s aunt and godmother has recently moved to a nursing home and has made a request to all family members. She’d like everyone to send photos of all the afghans she’s knitted for us in her more-than-80 years. This is one we have. I’ve draped it over a chair that’s already in my 365 project (for an “antiquity” theme): http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-01-20

Beautiful afghan! You've photographed it nicely. How many do you think she's knitted? Maybe someone could do a photo book for her with all her afghans.
Such a gorgeous afghan! Great that you can all send her photos! I am sure she has wonderful memories when making each one of these! A beautiful treasure and memory for you too.
@tskipper I decided to do 365 to learn how to use my first dSLR. Now that I know my decrepit camera pretty well, I continue to do 365 as a creative outlet AND/OR a photo journal. At Year 2 I began putting in links every day to 1 year ago, 2 years ago, … It's been interesting to me to see how I've improved as a photographer (maybe? I hope!), but also to see what was going on in my life 1 year ago, 2 years ago, … So that's why/how I found your comment! My wife says her aunt must have more than 50 afghans out in various parts of the family.
