Thanksgiving cactus (Schlumbergera truncata)

Schlumbergera is a small genus in the Cactaceae family including the “Thanksgiving cactus” (Schlumbergera truncata) as a distinct species and the hybrid “Christmas cactus” (Schlumbergera ×buckleyi, a hybrid of (S. russelliana and S. truncata). I posted a flower from this genus of cactus early this year, http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2013-01-24
