Clare is right-handed, though, so that simplifies some things by giving us a ready-made “system” at times. For example, on a common towel rack, we put hers on the right and mine on the left.

I was a left handed writer and eater, but now the only thing I do left handed is eat. Due to my arthritis in my left thumb joint and surgery the other year, I converted to writing with my right hand. Actually ended up quite well, but you are right, the world is created for right handed people for the most part.
