Guess the estimate!

Last week I was hit by a car coming out of a parking lot. Thought I was going to get hit. Then I thought he hit the brakes just in time and I was going to escape. And then he got me.

He got a ticket.

This is my front passenger-side door. The door “skin” will have to be replaced and the rest will be buffing and rubbing and getting paints to match as well as possible. I have an estimate from the shop that repaired my encounter with a deer — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2011-10-20 — $____.

I’m just hoping the weather is lousy when I don’t have my boat-carrying vehicle!

Grr! I'd guess about $3,000 like Rick. I had something much more minor, a shopping cart dint and gash on just on door and it was $1,000.

@digitalrn @frankhymus Although repairs haven't been rendered yet and there is always the possibility of hidden damage, but the estimate is $1,800. Good guesses, though; it's crazy what it costs to repair seemingly-minor damage...
