Travel day

Longggg travel day. Left our hotel this morning at 7:30 a.m. local time. Arrived in our Honolulu hotel about 8:30 p.m. local time. With a 5-time zone difference, that makes it about 18 hours from hotel-to-hotel.

Apparently, the best way to get to Honolulu from St. Louis is to fly an hour and a half south and *east* to Atlanta first (~500 miles), before connecting to Seattle (going farther *north* than St. Louis before heading south again). I know Atlanta is a “hub” for Delta, but really?
