@frankhymus @digitalrn The silver "splotches" are part of the leaves' coloration; it's neither snow nor any "hot-spot" reflections. From a wikipedia page, "dark green oval leaves, each leaf having ... raised silvery patches (hence the name 'aluminium plant')"!
