Thank goodness for U.S. 24! It cuts a nice diagonal north-and-east in Ohio from south of Fort Wayne to Maumee and now gives us a nice route to pick up air travel passengers at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. This time we are picking up Grace's fiance Neal on our way to Clare's mom's house in our hometown of Royal Oak. A full coffee can of Mom/Grandma's chocolate chip cookies always awaits. (The last couple times there has also been a full coffee can of Mom/Grandma's peanut butter cookies, too. Those were Dad's favorites.)
