Benjamin Harrison Presidential Home

Today we drove to Indianapolis. With Grace's limited vacation time at Christmas, Clare cooked up this idea to get Grace & her Grandma together by meeting about half-way … in Indianapolis.

So we met up at the hotel, had lunch and then went to the Benjamin Harrison home. Very interesting and we had a really great docent leading our almost-private tour!

This is Harrison's "home office." A lot more spacious than *my* home office plus I have glass-doored-bookshelf-envy!

The chair under the portrait on the far wall? Described by the docent as the world's ugliest chair! Given to Harrison by — no surprise — a cattle rancher!
