“warm cookies delivered until 3 AM”

A one-frame day.
Shot on my way home from the gym.
I did not go in. What, and undo what I'd just done at the gym?
Later-than-expected getting out of the gym as I had a half-hour conversation with a university colleague who recently lost his wife of 45 years to a long battle with cancer.

I hadn't heard of this business until it opened on the ground floor of a new apartment building adjacent to campus. My daughters had heard of it though. Apparently there was one in Champaign, IL, when they were students at U-of-I. Shoot; you can even order online! https://insomniacookies.com/

From its web site — it has offices in New York and Philadelphia, but was founded in a college dorm room in 2003 at the University of Pennsylvania, by a then-student. It now has more than 70 locations, with several west of the Mississippi and more coming.

BY THE WAY. The white dots under the letters? Not an artifact. There are little holes under each letter. Venting for heat? Access for replacing bulbs? In any case, not a photographic artifact.

I like peeking in through the dark! If I have cookies at home, they will call to me, causing insomnia, so I just don't have any.
