How many of my posts have been marginally-lame to severely-lame posts because there just weren't many frames shot on a long, tiring travel day, with camera(s) packed tightly away — i.e., inconvenient? I should've been using a "travel-day" tag to see the entire spectrum of "lameness" for these days!
This is the interior of the aircraft cabin on our direct flight from SFO to STL. Once we're in St. Louis and escape baggage claim with our checked pieces, we ride a light rail commuter train for 1–1½ hours to a parking lot where our car awaits. Then we have a 1¾-hour drive home (with a stop at a grocery store for perishable staples).
It's been a great trip to California, but it's time to be heading home for a spell. (Five years ago today was also a travel day!)
