Horned caterpillar by rhoing

Horned caterpillar

I found a web page for “horned caterpillars,” but none of the identified species looked right when I looked at more images at BugGuide. So I’ve submitted three blurry photos to Butterflies and Moths of North America and BugGuide for identification. I’m certain it will be ID’ed as a moth species.

» Species pages: [ BAMONA ] [ BugGuide ] [ UK Moths ]

The submitted images are blurry (like this one) because I’m clearly too lazy to properly control the macro lens to increase the depth-of-field and the LCD panel of the dSLR is too small for me to discern just how shallow the DOF is. Sigh.
