Surly Brewing Co. beers should be better than the last can we opened. Well this is why; it’s been “aged” in an aluminum can for faaaarrr too long. This one is already three years old and counting. Its destiny now is probably to end up in a soup. … Eventually. Now I always check the bottoms of the cans. :)

I didn't know beer would get old. I still have some bottles of Corona in the pantry that have been there for a long time. Yikes!

@marlboromaam All beers don't degrade the same. The dark stouts and porters I like "keep" longer than IPAs. Your Coronas are also in glass, which should help as well. :)

@danette A common imprinting is “Born on...” We currently have a Pineapple IPA from Tree House; the bottom of that can is, “But on a pizza? // 09/29/22 // 06:11:42”
