This is the LNB/LNBF for the satellite TV dish on our roof. “A low-noise block downconverter (LNB) is the receiving device mounted on satellite dishes used for satellite TV reception.” —Wikipedia entry

Since it’s out in the elements, it has to be watertight, hence the gasket and so many screws (approximately two dozen). I was just curious what this thing looked like on the inside. The 7–8" screwdriver provides some scale. (Taken down two years ago, since we had “cut the cord” by that time.)
ON1 note. I really, really like how the Crop tool allows the user to “level” an image!

Interesting! I don't think I'll be messing with mine, but the satellite has been disconnected more than a decade. Glad you like the crop tool. It is pretty nice.
Was this from DirecTV? That's who we use and now the dish has lost satellite connection...meaning a service call for them to "realign" the dish. We would "cut the cord", too, but live too far in the country for cable.
@thewatersphotos We were Dish Network, then DirecTV for a short time, back to Dish Network and then cut that cable. I understand your rural setting situation; we had DSL for a long time because we were too far from a high-speed internet box.
