A part of our ritual by rhoing

A part of our ritual

When we get together with Greg & Suzanne for dinner, after dessert Greg goes to one or more sites with trivia questions and quizzes the rest of us. Some nights Suzanne, Clare, and I do very well, sometimes not. Tonight there were a lot of insect questions and quite a few about butterflies. Despite all my insect posts and butterfly posts, I still missed quite a few questions, but it’s always fun.

I wish I’d begun this years ago, but the menu:
    • Wavebender (non-alcoholic drink before dinner; Mr. Boston ©1996)
    • Shrimp and Salami Pasta (Bon Appetit)
    • Butterhorn Rolls (newspaper?)
    • Jamaican Pecan Fudge Pie (OMG, so rich!)

Thus ends another January, which are rough months for 365 posts. January “no posts” since 2016—
    2017:  6;  2018:  4;  2019:  22;  2020:  14;  2021:  9;  2022:  9;  2023:  7;  2024:  7.
