I needed a moving object to have a go at the second camera settings challenge for shutter speed... don't fancy anything outdoors today as it's very showery - snow, hail and rain - so I dug out this little spinning UFO and had a go. I found that with the shutter speed at 1/200 all the photos were dark - perhaps I needed daylight? - and when I played with ISO whatever I did it was too dark so I just used the flash instead.
I've since discovered that the flash over rides the shutter speed so this didn't really count I guess but at least I did have a play with manual settings and that is the point of the challenge!
