We had a lovely journey across five counties - travelling between Northumberland and Clitheroe. We started in Northumberland, drove through County Durham, Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales before arriving in Lancashire. There was so much wonderful scenery but I liked this photo as it kind of sums up the day - beautiful scenery with sunshine and showers. The hill pictured is Wild Boar Fell, near the Cumbria and Yorkshire border.
Wow! That was some journey! Really lovely scenic landscapes on your blog Louise. I would love to see the viaduct. You really have been through some glorious countryside! This is lovely with the hill and the contrasting weather!

Thanks - it was a great journey. I'm still filling in gaps for August, this was so long ago now - can't believe how busy I've been in the last few weeks!
