I'm taking an easy option for today's words from the February challenge list and going with what I am loving to eat right now! I go through phases with food and this week I can't get enough pasta and garlic bread! I've had pasta with a tomato and chilli sauce plus some delicious garlic bread three times this week - sometimes with a bit of salad, sometimes with a tasty nut and vegetable roast. Delicious!

oh, I've been vegan but only for a short time - I'm a really fussy eater and it was too hard to keep it up. I never liked meat but it was animal rights when I was 10 that made me a strict vegetarian and I'd never go back now - I don't object to meat per se, and my other half is a meat eater but I like to see high welfare standards and to know where it is from and such. My great grandad started a butcher's shop in a little village, which is now run by my uncles so I was raised around meat and slaughter and have reasonable understanding of the process and am not squeamish about it or anything, but I don't like the taste/texture of it!
