I had a busy day at home and didn't manage to get out to take photos until the light was fading... I went for a drive and took several photos but I really liked how the last of the light was falling on Jodrell Bank. I think this fits in with the February Challenge list - today's word is technology and you can see two of the telescopes across the border in Cheshire here, the little Mark II and the big Lovell Telescope.

I've been visiting it since I was small as my dad's an astronomer and I love it and love how I can see it from afar from so many places around here!

There's not a huge amount there really, but I just love to stand by the Lovell and admire it! They built a new visitor centre a couple of years ago with all the information in, along with a nice new cafe. Clare and Olivia could visit the cafe while you do the 'dull' bits and then you could all have walk around the garden/arboretum!
