On safari

We went bat watching this evening - a successful trip - we found several species - common pipistrelle, Daubenton's, Noctule and either Whiskered or Brandt's - all identified by their different frequencies on the "bat gadget".

Well that's a clever gadget. I am not sure I would cope with the bats around but certainly interesting.

I have a friend who also has a bat detector and we had a very interesting evening listening to it when I was on holiday with her recently.
