Milk bottle birds

These were hanging in the trees on The Slopes in Buxton today. From a distance, they looked like raggedy ghosts leftover from Halloween. Dave thought they were doves for christmas, but getting closer I thought they looked more like gulls. Then we realised they were made out of plastic milk bottles. No idea why they are strung up around the trees though!

They are quite effective in the tree, good shot. Someone is recycling!
