I spent the day exploring Lincoln - the town, castle, cathedral and museum - a good day but one day was definitely enough of city life for me! I managed a whole 15 minutes inside the cathedral, from where this photo was taken, before the oppressive atmosphere got too much and I was ready to go outside again!
On leaving the cathedral, I was more excited than might be considered normal to find a severed pigeon foot on the ground, (I took a photo of that too or course!) which led me to conclude that Lincoln must have cathedral peregrines. Didn't manage to see one though.
Like the composition how you have shown the beautiful coloured glass within the curving wood. Any fellow 365r observing the dead foot would have understood instantly!
