In the garden

I went to see what was happening in the wild flowers area at the bottom of the garden and spotted this vibrant thing growing (I don't know what it is!).

Quite pleased with how this turned out, and some photos of wasps I took too, as I was using my phone! I've never used the phone camera as I don't have high opinions of them and thought my very old (5 years!) phone, which belonged to at least two people before me would be rubbish... not as bad as I thought as it turned out!
Very pretty. I like the shapes and patterns.

It's a beautiful colour and has great leaf edges and shapes. Nice shot.

Love the bright yellow-green of many new growing things at this time of year. This is lovely.

@bigugly Thanks... the birds must have 'planted' that seed!

I agree With Paul J, it does look a bit like raspberry leaves. Maybe you'll have home made jam in the autumn ;-) Most cell phones take OK pictures as long as there is enough light.

Lovely photo, I can't resist taking photos of the fresh green growth in the garden at the moment. I agree with @bigugly and @helstor as well, our raspberry plants (autumn fruiting) spread all round the garden!

@sue_s Thanks. There aren't any other raspberry plants in the garden. I think a bird must have left a seed behind!
