@flowerfairyann There are so many news (all different kinds) in this pond, they were popping up everywhere. The difficulty was pointing the camera in the right place at the right time, hehe!

Well captured...... are they a protected species ?

@dizzyd yes they are. I was only looking! We used to have these in the pond in the garden but a grass snake (another protected species!) came and ate them all!! Not seen any in there since but this pond just up the road is full of them!

I have never seen a newt here. I know they do exist in Norway, but they are rare (and protected here too). Good capture.
