My 'wild time' was a little different today as I spent it indoors, but I was supporting our Hen Harriers, listening to talks from a variety of speakers including Chris Packham, Mark Avery, Jeremy Deller, Mark Cocker, the RSPB and others. I also supported some Hen Harrier fundraising with some coins in the BAWC* collection bucket and buying a signed print from Jeremy Deller for a fiver, in aid of our Harriers. A brilliant evening.
Hen Harrier Day tomorrow. I was one of the so called Sodden570 ( http://365project.org/roachling/365/2014-08-10 ) last year, at the first HHD, so hoping this year it doesn't rain on us!
@pennystot Haha, I'd not heard of Jeremy Deller until last night. Aside from Chris Packham these people weren't celebrities. Just known names in the wildlife and conservation field.
