The first day of Summer today and the beginning of National Insect Week! It rained heavily all day long but then the sun came out when I got home from school!
I started reading a new book about Summer, found froglets all over the garden (the end of Tadpole Thursdays is nigh!) and saved the very drowsy bumblebee pictured here on some corn chamomile. Oh, and I completed an online, wildlife related survey too.
You'll find picture of the book and the froglets over on today's blog post and if you have a few minutes to spare (it only takes a couple of minutes) and would be willing to complete the survey relating to saving our wildlife, there's a link in the blog for that too.
An enjoyable wild day. I was watching something on TV about bees and it was saying they can have a full tummy but still only have 40 minutes of flying time before they have to feed again. You did a good deed looking after your tired bee.
