I was lifting the logs in my log pile looking for invertebrates today and found this millipede. I hadn't seen one like this before (though they are common). I knew it was a millipede as it has two pairs of legs per segment whereas centipedes have one pair per segment). I think it's a flat back millipede called Polydesmus angustus
