When I said (see yesterday) it was a monster courgette, I meant it! That's an A4 magazine for scale (and a peak at my dining room @kjarn !)
I wonder how many meals you can get out of one courgette? Anyone have any recipes which need a lot of it? I'm thinking cake ... courgette and lime, chocolate courgette cake...
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks, we inherited that floor with the house. I'm not so keen as it's a bit too orange for me and scuffs really easily, but I can live with it.
That is the longest courgette I believe I have ever seen! I like the Waitrose recipe for courgette and carrot fritters. Easy to make and very tasty. Your dining room table looks lovely.
@dailydelight Thank you - great idea! I even saved that recipe from the magazine myself but had completely forgotten about it! We started it at the weekend with a big dish of roasted veg that fed us well over two evenings but there's still so much courgette left!
