Whittling afternoon by roachling

Whittling afternoon

I took some TOIL (time off in lieu) this afternoon, intending to go home. I decided, leaving the office, I'd just have another half an hour whittling practise outside before I left...

This photo was three hours and 2 finished mushrooms later!! The mushroom like stick on the left was yesterday's first go. The two standing on the brick I made this afternoon. Not bad progress I don't think.

Nice.! Clever girl. Sounds like you enjoyed and the how time passed..

What a great TOIL activity - whittle away any angst! Your little finished fungi are really good.

Well I am impressed! That is speedy progress. What were you whittling with? I think you should be very proud of your work. That's just what TOIL should be used for :)

@dailydelight Just a knife, with a junior hacksaw to cut the mushroom off the longer stick when I was done and also to make a cut at the base of the mushroom cap to carve up to with the knife to create the stem, if that makes sense!
