Matlock Bath

A day of work with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust today. The River Derwent was flowing fast and rather high after all the rain over the weekend.

I like the framing of the cable cars in the distance. The river welland near us has burst it's banks today. Most unusual at this time of year!

I was wondering if they were cable cars. They add a nice little touch to the scene.

Thanks. I took the shot without the cable cars, but then spotted them coming down as the moved through the trees on the left, so got ready to take another photo as they passed!
