After the visit from our big goanna yesterday I started to think how long we have lived in this house. 26years! And in that time so much has happened - and looking around I could see so many memories in what has been our home. This fellow reminded me of the my days as a hobby potter - even had a kiln which still takes up space in our garage!
@photobird Thanks photobird - It's quite funny the things that become meaningful - usually something your kids hate!! I'm pleased that they quite like this fellow.
My mother once told me that "home is where your toothbrush is" to which I responded (at the wise old age of 16) that my toothbrush was whereever I happened to be....perhaps that's why I've never lived anywhere for more than 7 years! lol
@granagringa Ah - the wisdom of youth!! You must have had some interesting experiences moving so often? When you reflect - would you do the same again? If that's an invasive ques - just ignore it :) Just interested - being a bit of a stick in the mud!
@robz no worries..some of the moves just in the same area so great shakeups and some were long term and rather far...so yes, somethings missed but so many gained...I just widh all my loved ones would move with me!!!
@granagringa No worries - I was pretty sure what you meant. Both our families are on the Gold Coast - I can imagine it would be hard to move away from them. Cheers for now.
