The Ekka - going strong since 1876!

The Brisbane Agricultural Exhibition - The Ekka - has been a part of Queensland's history for well over a century. Many Queenslanders go every year - and there are some features which are now absolute traditions. Sideshow Alley, the farm animals, the woodchop, the sheep trials, the trots and other horse events and, of course, the fireworks!
These traditions are shown here for the revived collage challenge (thanks to Sue Heckler @featherstone26 for organizing this!): https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/30802/reviving-mfpiac-my-favorite-pix-in-a-collage

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Feeding dolphins on your birthday - what more could you want! If you are driving up will you have time to check out The Pinnacles at Cervantes - they are pretty cool. Looking back now that I've been a year at 365 I realize that they would have had some amazing photographic opportunities. Margaret River - yummy!
