Guaranteed to give you grey hair!!

Does technology really make things easier? Trying to do your Tax online is a living nightmare!!
Taxes are a nightmare to do -- even to prepare for an accountant. Not looking forward to the work and envy that you are already on your way!

Taxes are a nightmare- period! You always pay in but never really see anything in return for them. Hope yours get done as quickly as possible!

Clever shot. You and the laptop look dissociated from the almost abstract background.

Great selfie. It's always a nightmare for the mind when the reason is to pay up - much easier when you're putting in a claim, haha. in Malta, we, the less complicated people, can allow the tax people work out everything for them without having to fill forms yearly and we find it very convenient.

Great shot of the chaos! Taxes can be a nightmare. All the best! I operate an avalanche principle on my desk. When the pile gets so unstable it avalanches on to the floor, I go through the paperwork!!

@olivetreeann Thanks Ann - We've just discovered we've fallen into another tax form - State Land Taxes!! As well as the Federal Income Tax. As you say - you never seem to see anything back from it. :)

@nobled Thanks so much Dorothy - that's exactly what I was trying to make happen so I really appreciate your comment. Cheers

@sangwann No forms to fill in!! Wow! That must be great - especially if you are happy enough with their calculations. Truly that is less complicated! :)

@louisanoffke Thanks Sapphire!! Frustration and Confusion - exactly - especially with the MyGov site. Cheers Rob

@robz - don't even mention Mt.gov, have you worked out how to link your medicare card yet? i can't seem to do it.

@louisanoffke Hi Sapphire - sorry to have been so long in answering you - we've been moving daughter number 2 from Kingaroy back to Brisbane. I just had a look at MyGov again - I have somehow managed to link in my Medicare card ( can't remember doing it though!). But when I had another look I found that they also know all my Super details - I know I never told them that. And they want me to register for a My Health section. It seems quite intrusive - and why would they want to know all of your health details? I only signed up originally because they wouldn't let you do your tax online unless you had registered. I don't think I like the way it's going though. Very "Big Brotherish!" And their new tax format is awful - very limiting I find. I think I'm going to keep what I link up to an absolute minimium if possible? :)

@robz - just moved my daughter out of the house today, so i understand the business. My medicare just wont link, hard to get rebates without it now. i agree, far too big brotherish
