More curves and lines..

This is a new sculpture near the Casino. It has been unveiled in time for the Commonwealth Games. It is in a prominent position in a roundabout in the centre of several roads.Unfortunately that makes it very hard to isolate for a photo. This black is very artificial.....

@sonorobyn Thanks Robyn - the council, in their wisdom, surrounded it be various coloured gravels adorned with various cacti and small palm like things - all in the centre of the roundabout. The artist would probably have a heart attack if they saw it!!

@fbailey Hi FB - it is quite spectacular - very large and beautifully proportioned. Unfortunately the council did not consult with the artist on what would be suitable surrounds - so it sits in the middle of Gold Coast glitch. Bit sad really.
