A changing landscape. by robz

A changing landscape.

Beauty doesn't last forever near the city.
This is a great photo Rob, it invokes an immediate feeling of silence and heavy atmosphere pressing down on the landscape. Love the composition too.

Great landscape with an almost foreboding sense to it.

That's quite a statement you're making through your image. I agree with @dhg about the "foreboding" feel hre.

It is very moody and the fog really echos the sadness of the destruction of this landscape.

@golftragic Thanks so much Marnie - funnily enough this was quick shot from the car - but it really had that atmosphere about it.

@casablanca Very true Casablanca - I guess the houses are needed but we seem to be losing more and more farming land....

@ulla Hi Ulrika - there seems to be quite a big dilemma up here - to sprawl outwards or to "fill in" in the cities.... Hard to know which is better!

@dhg Thanks DHG - I was pleased how it turned out - it was a quick shot from the car. :)

@olivetreeann Hi Ann - it's hard to know what is better - to sprawl out or to "fill in" the spaces in the city. Brisbane seems to be in bit of a dilemma about it at the moment.

I agree it does have a desolate quality. There is both in our area, filling in and sprawling out.
