This must be the Sydney Bridge -- I recall seeing people climb it! Your framing between the lines in the foreground is interesting -- what are you standing between?
I love climbing bridges! They hadn't started doing that for the public when we lived in Sydney, but when we go back we will! I think this is Brisbane though, isn't it?
@jyokota Hi Junko - thanks for your comments. This is actually the Story Bridge in Brisbane - it is about the same vintage as the Harbour Bridge in Sydney and has a very similar construction. There are a lot of restaurants and bars just across from the bridge - we were on the first floor of one of these and it had a shade sail supported by those cables - made a good frame. Climbing it is still on our list of things to do! Cheers Rob
@casablanca Hi Casablanca - this is Brisbane - the Story Bridge. Brisbane has changes so much over the last decade - it is really a very nice liveable city these days. I think you would be pleasantly surprised if you were to make a trip over here. :)

@jyokota@robz Absolutely! Sounds awesome, but I am not free to travel so far til my boy's final exams are done in the Summer (English Summer!). After that though.......the world is my oyster!
@robz -- actually what @Taffy refers to as "what fun" has to do with the trip to Australia. I don't think she'd refer to climbing the bridge as "fun" at all.
