Live today for tomorrow.......

This is for the 52week challenge - story telling involving a stranger. This man believes in living for the day - who cares that Bull Sharks are known to breed and feed in these canals and that dusk is a very bad time for shark attacks. Maybe he just has absolute confidence in his skills, maybe he just doesn't care, maybe he's a risk taker, maybe......
Rob this is such a scary story! But certainly you succeeded in creating a storytelling involving a stranger. And the light and the atmosphere are just perfect match for it. One is afraid of seeing a shark appearing from the water and…

He probably believes he has always been lucky so far, so why worry?

or he knows that sharks don't really like the taste of humans :) I like your story to go with the image!

Well that would put me off for sure, or perhaps I'm just a wimp!

Frightening photo after your narrative!

A great picture (and story) Rob, love the action with the water dripping off the paddle.

Maybe...he's just plain stupid and thinks it won't happen to him. Still a good shot though!

Oh my. You won’t catch me paddle boarding there. Nice light on the splashed water and the composition is great

There's one born every day!! I just hope no-one else has to go and rescue him.

A lovely shot, but God's way of sifting out the stupid paddling in shark territory

@caterina Thanks for your wonderful response Caterina - it would have been nice to be brave enough to do one of your shots and know the real story of a stranger - but this seemed an easy way out of a very tricky challenge. And he was facing the other way! :)

@fbailey Lol FB - sometimes knowledge is a bad thing - we used to let our kids swim in the canal for years - before it was realized that the bull sharks were so numerous...... Now we're wimpy too! :)

@koalagardens Maybe just a little embellished for a good story....There have been some horrible attacks up here but not too many in these canals. :)

@casablanca Hi Casablanca - probably the chance of him falling off that thing is about zero!! Apparently they are pretty stable - not that I'd even be able to stand up on it.... :)

@madeinnl Probably just a good paddle boarder Ko. :)
May 31st, 2019
@peadar Lol Thanks Peter - it's OK to embellish a story just a little isn't it!!?? Most of the attacks have been in deeper water than the water here..... :)

@jacqbb Lol Jacqueline - thanks for liking the story - a far bit of imagination in there I'm afraid. :)

@rosie00 Hi Lesley - thanks for noticing the water - I was quite pleased to catch that! :)
May 31st, 2019
@olivetreeann Thanks Ann - but he's probably a paddle boarder who has nearly zero chance of falling off. I think he lived in one of those houses in the background - so he probably does this every day!! :)

@jgpittenger Hi Jane - thanks for your comment on the splashed water - I was pretty pleased to catch that. :)
May 31st, 2019
@golftragic Hi Marnie - I think he was pretty safe - he went into one of the houses along the canal - probably does this every day. :)

@onewing They're always interesting to watch though - I've never had a go on one - too old now too! :)
