Our Xmas in July gift giving has strict rules - you may choose an unwrapped gift from the pile OR you can steal an opened gift from another guest. The highly prized items ( all items cost less than $15, regifting is encouraged) circulate from person to person - with much short lived celebration - as shown here.....
You have Yulefest in your house? I love it! I remember seeing this in the Blue Mountains when we lived in Sydney. Looked like SO much fun......and it clearly is!
Fun shot- some folks really enjoy that game- as for me I always select something I really like and then someone steals it and I get stuck with something I truly hate- so I refuse to play it anymore! haha
@casablanca Hi Casablanca - I didn't realize this was called Yulefest - but you are so right about it being lots of fun! We actually do this now for our main extended family Christmas - it takes away so much stress and worry about what to buy everyone and replaces it with a super family get-together. And Errol ended up with this croc - it's hilarious - it just sits on the floor doing nothing but if you walk near it it makes sounds like a mad cackling and does multiple "death rolls" across the floor. Vinny loves it!! :)
@madeinnl Lol Ko - The croc ended up being given to our little Grandson - he loves it!! It cackles madly and performs "death rolls" all over the floor! :)
@olivetreeann Lol Ann - that is so funny - and you have no idea of the sneaky, orchestrated ploys that happen so that somebody can eventually get what they want! It gets quite noisy!! :)
