This is an excellent mural on a sidestreet in Stanthorpe. It shows one of the original settlers of the area - the small plaque introduces you to the gentleman and has a lovely photo of him reading about his mural in the local newspaper. :)
What a great story ... and a wonderful gesture. First I thought it was another artwork made by Sam Bates. I like how you captured both, the painting and the plaque.
