Hi Jane, Marnie, Margo, Frida ,Diana - our farm does have an interesting story - it was originally 2 adjacent 50 acres "soldier settlement" blocks which were offered to soldiers returning after WW2. It was a rugged, hard life trying to make a living from these blocks - and the Govn wanted the settlers to pay off the blocks from the income - which was usually zero. So most of the blocks were eventually amalgamated or abandoned. Ours has this cattle race and lots of original fencing as reminders of a pretty heartless Govn project.
