That giant plane can carry 32 tanks. It had followed the river around a corner and was now cruising calmly through a different part of the city. From our POV it was quite scary.
@onewing Hi Babs - That is such a true comment - it would probably be very traumatic for anybody who had been involved with that awful event. In this case the crowd had gathered hours early and were eagerly waiting for the flyovers. The sight of that huge plane calmly putting on a show for the crowd was quite amazing. @rickster549 Hi Rick - your comment about it floating on air was just so true - it seemed like magic! :) @ludwigsdiana Hi Diana - It was quite breath-taking. If you hadn't been expecting it it would have been terrifying. @wakelys Hi Susan - normally there's no way these things fly like this. This was all part of the RiverFire Festival. The fly-overs were a lead in to the fireworks later that evening. Thousands come to atch each year. :)
