A miniature world...

After the rain - tiny, tiny lichens, liverworts and mosses. I had never before seen these red sporing bodies on a lichen. Growing on a rocky section at the end of our street. The top rock was about 3 inches long. After the next hot, dry day they were all just dried out flaky patches....
