Thank you all for your appreciation of the Iris Van Herpen exhibition. It was just great that you all enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed it, enjoyed sharing my photos and enjoyed reading your comments! :)
This is a rundown apple orchard. The old trees have been removed to prevent fruit flies from breeding on their unharvested fruit.
At one stage, Ann @olivetreeann mentioned that she would like to see some images using the "Illustration" setting on my little camera - but in normal colours please!
Here's a little variety of shots Anne - and absolutely no weird colours ... :) Cheers Rob
@granagringa Hi Madelaine - thanks so much for that link - it was so interesting. I loved what he did - especially the project involving the cliff faces at Sydney. And I can see what made these "illustration" images remind you of his work. They both just remove the distracting details to allow the essential shapes dominate! Thanks again - much appreciated. Cheers Rob
And here I thought it was laundry day (sound of me tapping my silly head!). I don't know why for sure, but I really like this shot! I'm glad my suggestion inspired a new approach to your images.
