Still just playing. This is supposed to have rainfall - actually falling.... Apparently it should play like a tiny video.... It doesn't seem to work in the smaller image - only on my home page. Sorry!! Seems a bit of a silly thing anyway!
@fbailey LOL FB - unfortunately I found this thing on the Windows 10 Paintshop Pro 3D section. They had lots of mad moving things - but when they apply it to your image it becomes a little video. And then you can't upload it to 365 except through U Tube. I don't think it's worth the effort really. It also seems to me to look a bit odd that nothing else moves - it's like a video which isn't a video..... :)
@madeinnl Hi Ko - I'm glad you liked this mad thing!! Aren't you a fan of Paintshop Pro? That's where this weird thing was lurking - in the 3D Creations.
@suzanne234 LOL - thanks Suzanne - but to tell you the truth I like your creation with the flickering lights much better. This seems like something pretending to be a video but not being a video!! It wasn't on Elements - it was on Paintshop Pro. Don't think I'll bother with it again. :)
@4rky Yeah - I did like the sound effect - but overall it was a bit annoying!! Thanks for your encouragement though - I guess when you play around with editing you like some outcomes better than others. Cheers Rob
@golftragic Aww thanks Marnie. Funnily enough I didn't like the end result - with all of the noise ( which was cool) and raindrops etc it just seemed that the elephant and dog should move to!! It was a video but not a video. Fun to play with but I don't think I'll bother again. I did learn a lot though about other stuff!! - panos, layers and effects.....
@robz Aww thank you Rob. Take a look at creating and exporting as GIF that will be probably more what you was after. The lights were quite easy, they were supernovas put in different positions on the same duplicated image. You could maybe have done that with something like Zoe's tail wagging or the umbrella opening. if you wanted them to move. (just duplicate the image layer then move that one bit) The rain would have been trickier I suspect! (sorry if im trying to teach you how to suck eggs) I haven't looked at Elements yet, but looking forward to trying! I'm loving your creativity, it's nice to see someone having such fun :)
@suzanne234 Haa - Suzanne - there is absolutely no way you could tell me something i already know - I know virtually nothing about this whole hobby - that's what makes it such fun. The whole GIF idea sounds like it's definitely worth having a go at. I don't know if it work with the rain - it would sort of be 2 effects on top of each other. Worth a go though!! As for Elements - I downloaded a free trial of Elements 13 before I realized that you can get a free 30 day trial of the 2018 version. So I've got both - on different laptops. The 2018 seems a lot better in several ways. It costs about $145 (AUD) but I think it's probably worth it. I don't know how you buy the older version but I guess it's also through Adobe - don't know how much cheaper it is either. Neither of them are very intuitive though!! They do take lats of video watching!! Keeps you out of mischief for hours....... Thanks for your info. Cheers Rob
Love the sound of the rainfall.
Good job!
