There were so many shows on offer - and so many different types of entertainment - it was nearly impossible to choose. In some cases the cast of the show went to that little extra effort to attract an audience....
My boy's godfather was acting a play there last year. You have to go out when you're not performing to give out flyers and attract the people in because the competition is so fierce. This guy made me smile but I am not sure he would have got me in the door and parting with my ready cash!!
@casablanca Yep - that's what happened to us - we took his brochure and had a bit of a chat to him but then decided that the show might be a bit over the top for us. It was actually really difficult to isolate a show that you felt you might like - probably being aussies didn't help as we didn't recognize many of the acts. It was a lot of fun though - with a really good atmosphere. :)
